Farmer Training & Family Welfare
Before a single seed is sown, our field teams spend three years training farmer families in organic method — from soil preparation and natural pest control to composting and crop rotation. Every family that joins the programme is treated as a long-term partner, not a supplier.
Training costs, organic inputs, seed stock and technical guidance are provided by Sanjeevani at no cost to the farmer, so families can make the switch to organic farming without financial risk.
Certification Support
We guide every farmer group through documentation, inspection and registration required to achieve international organic certification.
Medical & Veterinary Care
Regular health camps for farmer families and veterinary check-ups for their livestock, keeping both people and cattle healthy through the season.

Train & Convert
Farmer groups are trained in organic cultivation and supplied inputs and seed at Sanjeevani's cost over a three-year conversion period, as required by international organic standards.
Certify
Once the land meets the standard, the farm is registered and audited to attain Certified Organic status — the same status that lets Barsana Magic label a product "organic".
Guaranteed Premium Buyback
Certified farmers receive a pre-decided cultivation calendar and a buyback commitment at a premium rate — a better price than the open market, agreed before the season begins.
This is the same model that has taken Sanjeevani Agrofoods from a single-state operation in 2008 to a certified exporter recognised with a Government of India Two-Star Export House award.
Children's Education & Village Sanitation
Our commitment to farmer families doesn't stop at the farm gate. Alongside agricultural support, we invest in the two things every partner village asks for most: schooling for their children and clean, safe sanitation for the whole community.

Support for school supplies, learning materials and scholarships for children of farmer families, so that a season's hard work in the field also builds the next generation's future.
Village Sanitation
Investment in toilets, clean drinking water points and waste management awareness drives across partner villages, in step with the same environmental principles that guide our organic farms.

Every claim on a Barsana Magic label is backed by an actual certification process — not marketing language. Here's what stands behind it.
No Synthetic Inputs
No synthetic pesticides, herbicides or genetically modified organisms are used anywhere in the supply chain, from field to processing facility.
Certified Processing Facilities
To carry the "organic" label, products are processed only in facilities that are themselves certified to organic standards — not just the farm.
Independent Lab Testing
Batches are lab-tested (including NMR testing on honey) and results are published for transparency, so customers can verify purity for themselves.
Farm-Level Traceability
Because every certified farm is trained and registered by our own team, produce can be traced back to the exact farmer group that grew it.

India's National Programme for Organic Production. Confirms farms are audited against the national organic standard for cultivation, handling and labelling.
USDA Organic (USA)
Confirms compliance with United States organic food regulations, allowing certified products such as Barsana Magic cow milk to be labelled organic for export markets.
Two-Star Export House
A Government of India recognition awarded for sustained, high-volume export performance and regulatory compliance over multiple years.
NMR Lab Testing
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance testing used to verify honey purity and detect adulteration, with reports made available to customers.

Our Co-founder's Story
Sanjeevani Agrofoods was founded in 2008 on a simple belief: that dairy farming and organic agriculture work best together, the way they always have in Indian villages. Rather than treating dairy as separate from the farm, the founding team built a composite model — training farmer families to raise both crops and cattle organically, side by side, so that every household had two sources of income and one shared standard of care.
What began as a Private Limited company converted into Sanjeevani Agrofoods Limited in 2024, growing from a regional initiative into a certified exporter — while keeping the same farmer-first model at its core through the Barsana Magic brand.
